Former network engineer, researcher of stellar magnetic fields, computing lecturer

From networking...

For nearly twenty years, I was a network engineer. I held CCNP qualifications, and had extensive experience with routing, switching and wireless networks.

... to astrophysics

In 2014, I left my networking job and started my PhD at the University of Southern Queensland. Studying astrophysics took me places I never thought I'd see.

Research Fellow

I was a Research Fellow (Computational Astrophysics) at USQ. Some of my papers can be found here. I am now a Lecturer in Computing at USQ.
